Elmer "Bus" Willett, 77, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009 at Adams County Regional Medical Center in Seaman, Ohio. He was born April 17, 1932 in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of the late William and Margaret (Pryor) Willett Hurles. He worked for the U.S. Shoe Corporation, with 45 years of service. He served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Grubbs) Willett, whom he married on Dec. 28, 1955; one son, Steve (Holly) Willett, of Wilder, Ky.; one daughter, Debbie (Mike) Blair, of Frankfort, Ohio; six grandchildren, Tommy Willett, Greg Willett, Elizabeth Willett, Amber Province, Alexa Blair, and Adam Blair; one brother, Fred (Jean) Willett, of Greenfield; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Marjorie Seigwald and Juanita Ruth Willett. Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Curtis Randolph and Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort, where military rites will be performed by the Concerned Veterans of Greenfield. A visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20, 2009 with Veterans' Appreciation service to be held at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Hope, 230 Medical Center Drive, Seaman, OH 45679.[[In-content Ad]]
