Ella Mae Hixson, 64 years old of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, April 24, 2010 at her residence .
  She was born April 16, 1946 in Cincinnati, daughter of the late Oliver Walton Young and Ivy Dolton Young.
Surviving is her husband, Walter Hixson, of Hillsboro 4 children, Howard (Phyllis) Jones Jr., of Russell Station, Ernie (Kathy) Jones, of Hillsboro, Bessie (Randy) Robinson, of Greenfield, and Mary (Pete) Jones, of Hillsboro. Also surviving is one sister, Dorothy (Jerry) Salmon, of Lake Waynoka, a brother, Kenneth (Brenda) Young, of Batavia, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Jones, a granddaughter, Amanda Star Jones, and 9 brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday , at with Rev. Tom Zile officiating.
  Interment will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with expenses.
