Elfriede E. Williams, 83, of Hillsboro died Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born Feb. 21, 1928 in Helmstadt, Germany, a daughter of the late Itnatz and Magdalena Schefer Rappelt.
She had retired from the Estee Lauder Company and AAFES. She attended the New Hope Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Udo (Lolita) Williams of Hillsboro; granddaughter, Savannah Williams; and one sister, Betty Cerney of Deer Park, Long Island, N.Y.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold “Budlee” Williams on March 10, 2005.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday June 3 at the New Hope Baptist Church. The Rev. Patty Burns will officiate.
Friends may call on Friday from noon-1 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church.
