Dorothy Mae Reno, 77, of Hillsboro died early Monday morning, Sept. 20, 2010 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born Jan. 6, 1933 in Lynchburg, the daughter of the late Cecil and Bessie Mae Fawley Newman.

Mrs. Reno had worked for Rotary Forms in Hillsboro for many years and had also worked for Shawnee Systems in Newtown.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Mike) Ferrell of Hillsboro, Carlene (Dennis) Griffith of Hillsboro and Sandy (Bryan) Staub of Hillsboro; one son, Ronald (Pam) Reno of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Eric (Bridget) Ferrell, David (Megan) Shaw, Sarah Staub, Gary Griffith, Jeff Griffith, Aaron Reno and Kayla (Mike) Morgan; two sisters, Jewel Moore of Hillsboro, and Judy (Jack) Fisher of Carlisle; three half sisters, Patti (Dale) Williamson of Hillsboro, Linda (Danny) Richmond of Hillsboro, and Diana (Tom) Goddard of Hillsboro; and one step sister, Phyllis Ward of Hillsboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Reno on Feb. 8, 2002. 

Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Joe Cluff will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
