Dora M. Workman, 73, of Wilmington, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born at Williamson, W.VA., on August 12, 1937 the daughter of the late Frank Welch and Ruth(Diamond) Welch of Wilmington.
Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Workman on August 2, 1991; two sons, Ricky and Michael Workman; and one brother, Denny Ray Welch.
She is survived by her mother, Ruth Welch of Wilmington; six sons, Gregory Workman of Wilmington, Terry Workman of Waynesville, Tracy Workman of Martinsville, Roger Workman of Spring Valley, Calif., Kerry Workman of Middletown, and Mitchell Workman of Phoenix; four daughters, Deborah Woods of Wilmington, Vickie Maynard of Texas, Irettis Arvizo of Arizona, and Virginia Denise Birmingham of Phoenix; one sister, Polly; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Resthaven memory gardens.
Friends may call on Tuesday from noon-2 p.m.
