Donnie Lee Ward
Donnie Lee Ward, 64, of Frankfort, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at his home.
He was born on Feb. 3, 1948 in Greenfield, the son of, Arthur and Edna (Beechler) Ward.
He retired in 2006 from Greenfield Research, where he served as a machinist. He was owner/operator of Don Ward Water Hauling for 10 years and a 1966 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School.
He is survived by three daughters, Pamela Kay (Todd) Younkin of Ashville, Kimberley Ann (Brian) Myers of Frankfort, and Kortney Dawn (Huy Nguyen) Ward of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren, Jesse, Jared and Jordan Younkin, Cameron, Reid and Tate Myers, and Jace and Blake Nguyen; one brother, Phil (Kathy) Ward of South Salem; one sister, Margie (Ralph) Yochum of Hillsboro; one sister-in-law, Renate Ward of South Salem; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Wayne and Connie Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Melinda Karyl (Ruddle) Ward on April 20, 2007; two brothers, Roger and Maynard Ward; one sister, Marilyn Perry; one brother-in-law, Richard Perry; and both parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with family officiating. In accordance with Mr. Ward’s wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. Sunday until time of service.
