Dolores Jean (Moberly) McLaughlin, 75, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born Jan. 23, 1937 in Buford, the daughter of the late Katherine Margaret Rhoades and Forrest Moberly.

She loved her family and family time; she also enjoyed camping and playing bingo and was a member of the Raymond R. Stout American Legion Post #129 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Roberts Predsbee McLaughlin, to whom she was married June 6, 1954 at the Fairview Church of Christ; her children, Debra (Roger) Pence of Winchester, Robert (Karla) McLaughlin of Hillsboro, Ronald (Kimberly) McLaughlin of Hillsboro, Cynthia (Phillip) Elam of Hillsboro and Rebecca (Gregory) Smith of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Kevin (Lisa) Pence, Devon (Jeff) Johnson, Ashley (Enrique) Pence Cosio, Jacqueline McLaughlin, Robbie McLaughlin, Ronnie (Jessica) McLaughlin, Megan (Gabriel) Adams, Zachary "Zach" Elam, Bryan Smith and Sarah Smith; 12 great-grandchildren; sister Maxine (Jack) Anders of Washington C.H.; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, June Lindsey; and two grandsons, Steven Michael Smith and Timothy McLaughlin.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. The Rev. Dr. Dan Lamb will officiate. Burial will follow in the Sugar Tree Ridge Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association, 15120 Collection Center Drive, (15120=Lbx#), Chicago, Ill. 60693.
