Debra Jo Shelton, 46, passed away at Harton Hospital in Tullahoma, Tenn. on Sunday, July 8, 2012.

She was born April 29, 1966 at Highland District Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gladys Lewis; and her grandparents, Cecil and Ruby Shelton; and brother-in-law, Robert Waugh.

She is survived by her mother, Patricia Santrock; father and stepmother, Donald and Betty Shelton; one daughter, Destinee Dawn Shelton of North Carolina; grandfather, Marc Lewis; sister, Cheryl Lynn Shelton; niece, Amy Waugh; nephew, Jesse Waugh; aunts and uncles, Gary and Ruth Tucker, Danny and Tamara Irvin, William and Cynthia Lewis, Juanita Craft, Ron and Ann Shelton, Emma and Allen Smith, Bob and Beverly Burns, Roger Shelton, and Mick Shelton. She was also survived by a special friend, David Stewart.

Services will be held at the Freewill Baptist Church, at 2 p.m. on August 18. All family and friends who knew Debra are welcome to attend. The family asks those attending to please bring a covered dish.
