Daryl C. Ahrmann, 54, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at his home.

He was born February 5, 1959 in Batavia, the son of the late Robert C. and Anna Lubkeman Ahrmann, Sr.

Daryl was an avid follower of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Reds. He loved and adored his family.

Daryl is survived by his wife Sue (Cox) Ahrmann, to whom he was married July 7, 1979 in Hillsboro; children, Daryl Jason “D.J.” (Jamie) Ahrmann, Brigette (Larry Storer) Ahrmann, and Laney “Bug” Ahrmann, all of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Caitlin, Abby, Emma, Christian Daryl, and Colin Daryl Ahrmann, Braydon “Cole Bucket” Cox, Alanna and Connor Purdon, Izzy Storer and Larry Storer II; brothers, Robert C. (Judy) Ahrmann, Jr. of Sabina, Larry C. (Amy) Ahrmann of Blanchester, Donald C. (Rae Lynn) Ahrmann of Blanchester, Doug C. (Mary) Ahrmann of Clarksville, and Darren C. (Karen) Ahrmann of Lynchburg; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Wiley Perkins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
