Christopher Sean Whiting, Jr., 18, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011.

He was born Jan. 18, 1993 in Hillsboro, the son of Christopher S. and Michelle Cadwallader Whiting.

Chris was a 2011 graduate of Laurel Oaks Career Development Center with a certificate in Auto Mechanics. He was a member of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church and an avid Bengals fan. He enjoyed fishing, cars, NASCAR and riding his bicycle, but most of all, he loved working with his dad on their Camaro.

He is survived by his parents Chris and Michelle Whiting of Hillsboro; sister Lacretia Whiting at home; maternal grandmother Frances Cadwallader of Hillsboro; maternal grandfather Roger (Sheila) Cadwallader of Hillsboro; paternal grandparents Raymond and Lilly Whiting of Hillsboro; aunts and uncles, Fay and Lisa Gibson of Hillsboro, Gay Wollman of Hillsboro, Raymond and Sheila Whiting of Hillsboro, Gina Garrison of Washington C.H., and Paul Cadwallader of Chillicothe; and his girlfriend, Courtney Lister of Hillsboro.

He is preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents Nelson and Blanche Cadwallader and paternal great-grandparents Walter and Ethel Fryman.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro. Rev. Dr. Dan Lamb will officiate. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 4-8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.

Memorial donations are directed to the Christopher Whiting Memorial Fund at NCB Bank, 139 S. High Street, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
