Christopher E. Duffield

Christopher E. Duffield, 15, of Hillsboro, died Aug. 11, 2013 in Bainbridge.
He was born Nov. 25, 1997 in Dayton, the son of Harry Duffield, Jr. and Yvonne Rickman.
Chris was a unique, compassionate, fun-loving young man who never had a bad word for anyone, and was wise beyond his years.
He was a member of the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church.
He was entering his sophomore year at Hillsboro High School where he had lettered in track and worked in the cafeteria.
He is survived by his mother, Yvonne (Jimmy Beamer) Rickman; father, Harry Duffield, Jr.; two sisters, Megan Parker and Patricia Duffield; brother, Michael Duffield; grandparents, Ivy (David) Walters of Circleville and Doris Dillon (Dave) Elliott of Hillsboro; aunts and uncles, Duke Rickman, Dottie Haddox, Tammy Zimmerman, Edward (Amy) Rickman, David Elliott, Angela (Karl) Totton, and James Duffield; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, David Rickman and Harry Duffield, Sr.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church. The Rev. Dr. Dan Lamb will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-8 Friday at the church.
