Caroline Marshall, 69, of Lynchburg, died Sunday evening July 10, 2011 at the home of her daughter near Pricetown, Ohio.
She was born July 31, 1941 in Fairview, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harry Everett and Josephine Michael Creek.
Mrs. Marshall had worked for 22 years for the Irwin Company in Wilmington. She had been a member of the Wilmington Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1124 Auxiliary.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (John) Workman of Lynchburg and Phyllis (Rick) Drake of Martinsville; 10 grandchildren, Kristy (Nathan) Cook of Hillsboro, Amanda Quigley of Martinsville, Brandi (Rau) Adae of Fayetteville, Jerrod (Sunni) Quigley of Greenfield, Brittany Oeder of Sabina, Kim (Tim) Case of Lynchburg, Crystal (John) Moore of East Monroe, April (Mike) Muth of Hillsboro, Kimberly (Kevin) Bennett of Sinking Spring and Angie Williams of Piketon; 20 great-grandchildren, Shelby, Emma and Connor Case, Caleb and Katie Cook, Isaak and Noah Adae, Mackenzie Oeder, T.J. and Destinee Drake, Dustin and Derek Cummings, Brittany Moore, Morgan Wisecup, Blade Bennett, Megan Hickman, Chance Groves, Eric Williams, Hope Muth and Dusty Wright and one brother, Ralph Creek of Wilmington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Marshall on Feb. 14, 2001; one son, John “Randy” Marshall; one granddaughter, Jamie Marshall; six brothers, Harry Jr., John, Stanley, Harold, Vernon, and Wendell Creek; and one sister, Elsie “Sis” McQuitty.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Leo Kuhn will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
