Bradley Clay Bourne

With a spirit that shone brightly and a heart that embraced all who knew him, Bradley Clay Bourne, of Hillsboro, peacefully passed away on Oct. 5, 2025.

At the age of 86, he leaves behind a cherished legacy, filled with love, creativity and joy. He was the son of the late Cabell and Irene (Casey) Bourne.

He found boundless joy in the laughter and accomplishments of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

Bradley is survived by his beloved wife, Ruby Jane (Helterbrand) Bourne, married on Sept. 25, 1961, who stood by his side through every chapter of their adventure together. Their love was a testament to the beauty of companionship and partnership.

Bradley will be remembered not only for his artistic talents and military service but also for the love he bestowed upon his family and the joy he brought to every gathering. He will be deeply missed yet forever in our hearts.
