Beverly B. Stroup
Beverly B. Stroup, 76, of Batavia, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at Hospice of Cincinnati East.
She was born on June 17, 1936 in Thibodaux, La., the daughter of Herman and Edith (Authement) Bourg, Sr.
She was a minister’s wife and homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Janet (Tommy) Broom of Mandeville, La.; one son, Gary (Christine) Stroup of Batavia; grandchildren, Katie (James) Crum of Mandeville, La., Kristin Broom of Mandeville, La. and Lauren Broom of Hattiesburg, Miss., Bradley Stroup of Richmond, Texas and Justin (Jessica) Grate; two great-grandchildren, Kade and Kara both of Austin, Texas; three brothers, Herman (Noel) Bourg, Ronnie (Connie) Bourg and Ernest Bourg; three sisters, Ruby (Roger) Mullins, Audrey (Ray) Hall and Debbie (Sonny) Andras all of Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Herbert Stroup, on Sept. 14, 1990; one daughter, Kathy Grate on Sept. 13, 1997; one son, Brian Stroup on May 26, 1990; and both parents.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2013 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with the Rev. Allen Clemmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of service.
