Betty Jewell (Morris) Hines, 66, of South Salem, formerly of Huntington, W.Va., died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
She was born July 20, 1944 in Wayne, W.Va., the daughter of the late Donald and Vada (Marshall) Morris.
She is survived by one daughter, Deborah (Carl) Hardesty of Huntington, W.Va.; three sons, Clifford (Sue) Pelfrey of Huntington, W.Va., Gary (Teresa) Jordan of Huntington, W.Va. and Johnathan Jordan of South Salem; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters June Fraley of Grove City, Susie Scarberry of Huntington, W.Va. and "Golden Girl" Joan Cassidy of Wayne, W.Va.; special friend Devona Hixson of South Salem; and a host of relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Forest E. Hines, on May 7, 2003, and her granddaughter, Mandy.
There will be no funeral service observed. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, May 27, 2011 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield.
