Anna Mae Steward, 81, of Greenfield, died Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
She was born April 14, 1930 in Ross County, the daughter of Wilbur and Myrtle (Seldon) Ford.
She was a homemaker and former employee of the Elliott Hotel in Greenfield. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Greenfield.
She is survived by five sons, Earl Steward of Greenfield, John T. Steward of Hillsboro, Dennis Steward of Sabina, Keith Steward of Greenfield and Kevin Steward of Greenfield; three daughters, Myrtle (Sam, Jr.) Eddings of Greenfield, Ann L. (Larry) Marquez of Greenfield and Donna J. (John) Miles of Washington C.H.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews; four sisters, Jean Washington of Wilmington, Janet Duvall of Texas, Marilyn "Goodie" Rhinehart of Wilmington and Joann Jacobs of Washington C.H.; and one brother, Eldon Ford of Greenfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Edward Steward, Sr., on March 25, 1992; two sons, Robert and Frederick Steward; two brothers, David "Sonny" Ford and John Henry Ford; one sister, Genevieve Cannon; a grandson, LaMar Gillenwater; and a great-grandson, Angel Alsnia.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Ella Kolle officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
