Ann Joan Rehark, 90, of Hillsboro, died Monday evening, July 4, 2011 at the Laurels in Hillsboro.
She was born Aug. 18, 1920 in Cleveland, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Vincenza Castigilia Testa.
Mrs. Rehark had worked for the Black and Decker Company. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a past member of the Highland County Senior Citizens, the Garden Club, Ladies' Sodality, American Heart Association and the Highland District Hospital Buckeye Twig.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Jim Winner of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Jodi (Tim) Kessler of Cincinnati and Jim (Mary-Pat) Winner of Fairfax, Va.; seven great-grandchildren, Bryce, Clay, Melanie and Mitchell Kessler and Katie, Jimmy and Jake Winner; one special niece, Vivian Specter of Erie, Pa.; and several additional nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rehark Jr. on Oct.26, 1990; one brother, William Testa; and two sisters, Lucille Beauchamp and Jean Wichert.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 9 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro. Father Mike Paraniuk will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, July 8 from 5-7 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
