LEESBURG – Southern Hills Community Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Lindsay Cloud to president and her appointment to the Board of Directors.
This promotion and appointment are not only a testament to Cloud's qualifications, but also the successful execution of Southern Hills Community Bank’s long-term succession plan. For years, the bank and Board of Directors have been cultivating and preparing its next leader, ensuring a seamless transition.
Cloud’s elevation to president and the Board of Directors reflects the bank’s foresight and commitment to long-term stability and growth as well as advancing leadership excellence. Jeffrey Cloud will remain as CEO and Director.

With a proven track record of success and 20-plus years of banking experience, Cloud has been instrumental in driving the bank’s growth, developing strategic initiatives and direction, fostering collaboration, and enhancing customer and employee experience.
Lindsay Cloud, who previously served as executive vice president, CFO, brings a wealth of experience, education and knowledge, and a proven track record of success to her new position as president. During her 20-plus year tenure at Southern Hills, she has played a vital role being the glue that has strengthened employee morale and communication as well as a driving force in implementations that have also led to many employees’ successes and a very bright outlook for the bank.
Lindsay is a Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems from DeVry University, Columbus, and a master of accounting and financial management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management.
She has supported and served in various roles throughout SHCB for over 20 years. In addition to her banking role, she currently serves as treasurer to the Highland County Chamber Board of Directors, Board Member to the Society of Bank Executives, Committee Member for the Highland County Community Fund and Board Member for the Highland County Revolving Loan Fund.
Lindsay most recently received the distinguished statewide Ohio Banker’s League Next Generation Leadership Award for her exceptional vision, innovation and leadership in banking.
