Highland County Sheriff’s Report

These incidents have been reported by the HCSO.

July 20

A resident of the 5700 block of Ellis Lane reported unsafe shooting. This incident remains under investigation.

A deputy responded to the 3300 block of U.S. Route 50 after a report of vandalism.

Deputies responded to the 6600 block of Park Lane after a report of an intoxicated male. After investigation, James A. Freeman, 73, of Hillsboro, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.

A resident of the 9000 block of state Route 785 reported fraud.

A resident of the 1700 block of Orebaugh Road reported telecommunications harassment.

July 21

A resident of the 100 block of Jan Lynn Lane reported telecommunication harassment. After investigation, a Blanchester man was issued a warning for telecommunications harassment.

Deputies responded to the 14000 block or state Route 124 after a report of a domestic disturbance. After investigation, it was determined to be a verbal dispute, no charges issued.
