Highland County Sheriff’s Report

June 13
A deputy responded to the 7000 block of Highland Trail W. after a report of a vehicle damaging a fence and yard.
A deputy responded to the 5100 block of Leininger Haigh Road after a report of a theft. This incident remains under investigation.
A resident of the 7800 block of Main St, Highland, reported a disorderly person. After investigation, both parties were verbally warned for disorderly conduct.
A resident of the 4100 block of Caleb Hill Road reported a disorderly person. Prior to the deputy’s arrival the person left the residence. No charges were issued.
June 14
A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Butters Road after a report of an 8-year-old child with special needs. Prior to arriving on the scene, the deputy located the child. The child was returned to their parents. No charges were issued.
A resident of the 9800 block of Mad River Road reported a disorderly person. After investigation, a female was given a verbal warning for disorderly conduct.
