Highland County Democratic Party opens new headquarters

The Highland County Democratic Party has opened their new quarters at 205 S. High Street in Hillsboro.

 They are open to hand out signs Thursday and Friday from noon to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The grand opening event at the new headquarters will be Saturday, Oct. 3 from noon to 3 p.m. Enjoy refreshments, pick up yard signs, meet candidates on the November ballot, and engage with other Highland County residents.

The Party will host a Soup Supper on Oct. 14 at the Hi-TEC Center, 1575 N. High Street, Hillsboro, beginning at 6 p.m. Lisa Parker, Mamaw’s Porch n Politics, will make a special appearance in addition to candidates who will be on the November ballot including Don Leonard, candidate for U.S. House of Representatives District 15; Brian Deer, candidate for Ohio Senate; Amy Wright, candidate for Ohio House; and Howard Zody, candidate for Highland County commissioner.  

There will be a silent auction as well. Donations for the dinner can be made that evening. All are welcome.
