Greenfield Village Council to meet Sept. 16

A special meeting of Greenfield Village Council has been called Sept. 16 at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Council Chambers, third floor of city hall, 300 Jefferson Street, Greenfield for the following purpose:

To hold a 2027 budgetary meeting with the mayor, fiscal officer and department Heads and to consider the following legislation:

Second Reading of: Ordinance No. 28-2026: An Ordinance authorizing and directing the Mayor, or his designee, to advertise for bids to lease for agricultural use ± 175.7 acres of land located in the Greenfield Industrial Park and declaring an emergency;

Second Reading of: Ordinance No. 29-2026: An Ordinance authorizing the solicitation of competitive bids for a Risk Mitigation and Street Clearance Tree Pruning contract; and

First Reading of: Ordinance No. 30-2026: An Ordinance authorizing and directing Mayor, or his designee, to advertise for bids to lease for agricultural use ± 11.00 acres of land located in Ross County and declaring an emergency.
