Greenfield Village Council to hold public hearing on continuation of Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA)
Notice is hereby given that the Village Council of Greenfield, Ohio will hold a public hearing pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 4301.82 to consider the continuation of the Village’s Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). Council shall also be considering expanding the DORA area to include the VFW in its entirety (Highland County Parcel Numbers: 27-17-001-190.00 & 27-17-001-191.00).
Date of Hearing: August 3, 2026 Time: 7:00 P.M. Location: Greenfield Council Chambers, 300 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment regarding the continued operation of the Greenfield DORA, originally established by Council under ORC 4301.82 and encompassing approximately 17.5 acres within the downtown district, including portions of Jefferson Street, Washington Street, and the SR‑28 corridor as described in the approved DORA application and map on file with the Village.
A copy of the DORA application, operational plan, sanitation plan, safety plan, and boundary map is available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Village Offices, 300 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio.
Members of the public are invited to attend and provide testimony. Written comments may be submitted to the Village Manager at the address above prior to the hearing.
