Georgetown OSHP Post investigating two-vehicle fatal crash

PERRY TOWNSHIP – The Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway patrol is investigating a two-vehicle, fatal traffic crash involving a Nissan Rogue and a Kawasaki Ninja. The crash occurred yesterday, September 11, at approximately 4:58 p.m. at the intersection of US Route 68 and state Route 123, in Perry Township, Brown County.

The preliminary investigation revealed a 2017 Nissan Rogue, operated by Aundreau Faulkner, 38, Fayetteville, was traveling eastbound on state Route 123 when it failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle, operated by Adam Bockhorst, 24, Pleasant Plain, that was traveling southwest on US Route 68. After impact, the Rogue traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a traffic sign before coming to final rest while the motorcycle remained in the roadway.

Faulkner was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and Bockhorst was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted with this incident by the Brown County Sheriff’s Office, Fayetteville Fire & EMS, Ohio Department of Transportation, Collin’s Towing, and the Brown County Coroner’s Office.

The crash remains under investigation at this time by the Georgetown Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
