McClain boys soccer defeats Highland County counterpart Fairfield

The McClain Tigers boys soccer team visited the Fairfield Lions on Thursday night (Aug. 17) and defeated their Highland County counterpart by a 4-1 score in their non-conference showdown.
McClain had two goals by Jobe Lugo and one goal each by Seth Weller and Westley Smith.
For the Lions, their lone goal was from Zane Matthews.
Fairfield keeper Carson Jenkins collected three saves for the Lions.
The win moves McClain to 1-1 overall, while Fairfield is 1-2 overall.
