As usual, Republicans the party of 'no'

To the editor:
As I stated on this site in response to Jim Moore and Shelia Hottinger, the
Constitution tops state law and a federal judge has blocked the most outrageous parts of the immigration law in Arizona. The federal government could pass a new law if Republicans in Congress were really willing to work on a compromise that included amnesty for people already here, but as usual, they are the party of "no."
They have no real interest in improving the conditions of the people in this country unless you are very wealthy or head a large financial institution. The voters of this county and state had better realize that this country will continue to spiral toward Third World status if Republicans gain power.
Sincerely,
John Hiestand
