Republicans should reject government health care

By
-
To the editor:
The Highland County Press editorials, Republicans candidates and supporters at all political levels, and Tea Party supporters have strongly opposed the health care bill passed by President Obama and Congressional Democrats.
Republicans in Congress say they want to repeal it. Therefore, I say that that Rob Portman, Michael Turner, Dave Daniels, Cliff Rosenberger, and Jeremy Shaffer must reject any government provided health care that would come from their political position. In fact, all Republicans at all levels should reject government supported health care for themselves and their families.
They do not believe that all the citizens of this country deserve excellent health care coverage even if it is provided by the government. So, why should we citizens provide them with health care? If Republicans do take government provided health care, they are just major league hypocrites.
Sincerely,
John P. Hiestand
