Lady Lions shut out Miami Trace; win by 10 goals
The wins continue for the Fairfield Lady Lions, with their latest victory occurring on Thursday night (Aug. 24), as they defeated the visiting Miami Trace Lady Panthers in non-conference action.
Once again, the Lady Lions had two hat tricks in the victory, with Faith Donley finishing with three goals and two assists, while teammate Kennedy Zink tallied three goals as well.
Vivian Henninger totaled two goals and one assist. Also with one goal each were Hannah Hamilton and Kenzie Tolle. Ava Hooper collected two assists.
At goal for FHS, for the combined shutout, were Claire Newkirk with four saves and Meri Jackson with three saves.
With the win, the Lady Lions are 4-0-0 overall, and they are also 2-0-0 in the SHAC.
Next for FHS is a home game on Saturday, Aug. 26 at 4:30 p.m. against the Clinton-Massie Lady Falcons.
