Lady Indians win at London

For the second time this season, the Hillsboro Lady Indians left the court with a win, as Saturday they gained a South Central Ohio League win by a 56-28 score against the London Lady Red Raiders.

The win was also the first win for the Lady Indians on the road this season.

Leading the scoring for the Lady Indians were two players with 20-plus points, with Kaylynn Bell with 24 points and Trista Rhodes with 22.

This win by HHS broke a five-game losing streak as HHS now stands at 2-5 overall and 1-3 in the SCOL. LHS moves to 2-6 overall with a SCOL mark of 0-4, as LHS has lost five consecutive games.[[In-content Ad]]

HHS will next play on Wednesday, Dec. 19 as they host the Madison-Plains Lady Golden Eagles. On Thursday, Dec. 20, HHS will play Lynchburg-Clay at 8 p.m. in the 8th Annual Highland County Girls Basketball Shootout at HHS.

For the Highland County Shootout, no passes will be accepted as admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students.

London will play again on Wednesday, Dec. 19 as they travel to face Clinton-Massie.
