The Hillsboro boys and girls track & field teams combined for 10 total wins Tuesday at the Western Brown Invitational as each team placed second overall in their meet in Mount Orab.
The girls team won six times, while the boys placed first on four occasions.
For the girls, they won three relay events, along with two individual events by Megan Overberg and one individual event from Brittany Ferrell.
In the boys events, Jarrod Hart won two individual events, while HHS also won two relay events.
In the six wins by the ladies from HHS, the first came in the 4x800-meter relay with a time of 10:39.15. HHS also won the girls 4x100m event at 55.84 and the 4x400m with a time of 4:24.92.
Overberg won the 400m dash with a time of 1:01.31 and the 200m dash at 27.46. Ferrell won the 800m run at 2:29.31, winning by just over seven seconds ahead of second place.
The boys wins came in the 4x800m relay at 8:53.80 and in the 4x400m with a first-place time of 3:41.46.
Hart won the 1600m run at 4:48.79 and the 800m run at 2:03.23, which was nearly seven seconds ahead of second place.
