Hillsboro volleyball advances in sectionals

The Hillsboro Lady Indians defeated the Circleville Lady Tigers in five sets Monday at Hillsboro High School in the 2010 Division II Sectionals.

Hillsboro and the Lady Tigers split the first two sets, with HHS winning set one 25-11 and dropping set two 26-24.

In the third set, Hillsboro won 25-22. The fourth set went to the Lady Tigers at 25-15.

HHS won the final set 15-8.

The win lifts HHS to 4-19 overall.

The Lady Indians will travel to face the Washington Lady Blue Lions, the No. 1 seed, on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Washington Senior High School in Washington C.H. for the next round of sectionals.[[In-content Ad]]
