Hillsboro tennis sweeps Unioto match

The Hillsboro Indians won every tennis match Wednesday as they swept the visiting Unioto Shermans at the tennis courts at HHS.

In first singles, Hillsboro senior Reese Leibreich defeated Brandon Stemos, 6-1, 6-0.

Alex Rhoads defeated Todd Mendenhall, 7-5, 6-0 in second singles, and Patrick Shanahan won third singles via forfeit.[[In-content Ad]]

In first doubles, Brendan Eltzroth and Zach Basford won against Levi McFadden and Hudson Park by scores of 6-1, 4-6, 6-1.

In second doubles, the team of Sawyer Davis and Ryan Palmer (HHS) defeated Liberty Detty and Andrea Morcioni in three sets at 6-2, 4-6, 6-2.
