UPDATED: Winter weather impacts Rumpke service

As Winter Storm Blair moves across the country, Rumpke Waste & Recycling Services is working to ensure scheduled collections happen as efficiently and as safely as possible.

Due to hazardous road conditions, Rumpke services will be closed Monday, Jan. 6.

Residents are encouraged to leave material at the curb and crews will attempt to service as soon as possible.

“Safety is a top priority for our team,” Safety Manager, Rob Beyrer said. “The freezing temperatures that are predicted for the remainder of the week make our job more dangerous. To help protect our team members from cold-related illnesses and ensure customers still receive timely collection, we must adjust our operations.”

Rumpke customers should continue to place material at the curb the night before their scheduled collection. For the latest service updates, visit www.rumpke.com.
