South Webster couple charged with felonious assault
Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman announced that on Sunday, March 16 at approximately 12:56 p.m., the 911 Communication Center received a call from a female allegedly making threats toward her neighbor in South Webster.
While deputies were en route, they were advised that an altercation had allegedly taken place and that two people were allegedly cut with a knife and two others were allegedly assaulted. Upon the arrival of deputies, four ambulances were requested.
Four individuals were transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center for treatment. Detectives responded to the hospital to begin their investigation.
All four of the subjects who were transported to SOMC were treated and released. Two of the individuals were detained for further investigation, which resulted in their arrest.
Arrested were Russell D Slone Jr., 45, of South Webster, and Tiffany Slone, 36, of South Webster. Both were charged with felonious assault, a felony of the second degree; strangulation, a felony of the fourth degree; strangulation, a felony of the third degree; and two counts of domestic violence, a misdemeanor of the first degree.
