U.S. Senator Rob Portman (R-Ohio) has received the John Glenn School of Public Affairs’ Medal of Leadership, in an awards ceremony April 28 at the Queen City Club in Cincinnati.
According to the award criteria, the Medal of Leadership is awarded to an individual who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in public affairs by example, action, and accomplishments and has influenced others to achieve goals in the public interest.
“It is a great honor to receive the John Glenn School of Public Affairs’ Medal of Leadership alongside so many distinguished friends and colleagues," said Portman.
"Nothing is more rewarding than serving your fellow citizens. The John Glenn School of Public Affairs, through its faculty, administrators, alumni, donors, and support staff is helping to create the leaders of tomorrow.”
