Police department investigates alleged menacing note at HMS

On Dec. 8, the Hillsboro Police Department investigated a complaint from the Hillsboro Middle School of a 14-year-old male student who had left a menacing note in the locker of another student.
The incident was investigated by the Hillsboro Police Department and a complaint was forwarded to the Highland County Juvenile Prosecutor's Office for the determination of possible charges.
