National Church Residences Continuing Care Retirement Communities ranked nationally by Newsweek Magazine
National Church Residences is proud to announce two of its Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) have been recognized among the top in the nation by Newsweek magazine.
According to the recent national survey conducted by Newsweek in partnership with Statista, First Community Village in Upper Arlington secured the No. 42 ranking nationally, while Bristol Village in Waverly entered the rankings at No. 150. Additionally, First Community Village received the top ranking in Ohio among all CCRCs.
As the U.S. population over 65 continues to grow, CCRCs are gaining popularity as a preferred option for seniors seeking both independence and access to the services and care they may require as they age.
“National Church Residences is honored to have First Community Village and Bristol Village recognized among the best in the nation,” said Senior Vice President of Healthcare Operations, Brianna Mettler. “We believe in meeting older adults where they are and we remain committed to providing outstanding care and services, ensuring they can age with dignity and grace in vibrant and engaging communities.”
Located in the Columbus metro area, First Community Village offers an array of spacious apartment floorplans and manor homes as well as four distinct dining options, comprehensive services and amenities that include a salon, a barber shop, movie theater, spa services, a creative arts center, wood shop, a wellness clinic, a state-of-the-art exercise center with fitness programs and much more.
Bristol Village sits on a campus surrounded by rolling hills in southern Ohio, about 60 miles directly south of Columbus. This 133-acre campus offers nearly 350 homes on tree-lined streets and miles of paved walking paths along with intimate parks throughout this truly unique senior living community. Older adults can enjoy multiple services and more than 50 resident-led activities throughout the year. Many of these services and activities are available at the 65,000 square foot Glenn Activity Center.
Newsweek, in collaboration with the global research firm Statista, has introduced the inaugural ranking of America's Best Continuing Care Retirement Communities. This year, the top 250 CCRCs in the United States were recognized, emphasizing places where residents not only live but thrive. The ranking methodology employed by Statista and Newsweek involved a comprehensive analysis, including a Reputation Score and an Accreditation Score. The Reputation Score was based on recommendations from professionals, acquaintances, and residents within CCRCs.
