The Lynchburg-Clay Board of Education each year honors two area businesses for their financial and in-kind support of the students and staff. 
"We value our business partnerships and are extremely grateful for what you do on behalf of our school community," Superintendent Shane Shope said.
The two recipients of the 2011-12 LC Varsity Club award were Terry's Grocery and Southern Hills Community Bank.
