Interstate 275 multi-agency reckless driving enforcement results announced

Cincinnati – Over the week of Sept. 13-19, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with local and state safety partners, focused on preventing reckless driving and reducing the number of fatal crashes in select areas of Interstate 275 with the highest crash rates.

The weeklong enforcement included safety partners from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Miami Township Police Department, Sharonville Police Department and Ohio Department of Transportation.

During the enforcement, the Patrol and partnering agencies issued 318 speed citations. Additionally, agencies cited 14 drivers for safety belt violations, issued 23 distracted driving citations, and arrested 7 drivers for impaired driving.
