Hillsboro Police Report

On April 24 at approximately 5:51 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a dome light on in a car in the 200 block of North West Street. The vehicle had been broken into, and several items had been taken. Another officer in the area observed a subject running from the area of the crime. The items taken from the vehicle were located in the area the subject was seen fleeing from. During the search for the suspect who fled on foot, officers discovered four vehicles parked in the Ole Depot parking lot had also been damaged. This incident remains under investigation.

At approximately 12:52 a.m., an officer on patrol found a vase and headstone and been knocked over in the Hillsboro Cemetery.[[In-content Ad]]
