Highland-506 now open to traffic

By
-
State Route 506 in Highland County is now open to traffic following a culvert replacement project at the 4.06-mile marker. The route was closed Monday, October 19, for crews to replace a deteriorated pipe located immediately west of the route's junction with County Road 76 (Carmel Road) and state Route 753 at Carmel. Although the closure was scheduled to be in effect through the end of the work day today, October 23, crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation's Highland County Highway Maintenance Facility were able to expedite the project and reopen the route by 2 p.m. Thursday, October 22.
