Hazardous weather advisory in effect

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather advisory for northeast Kentucky, central Ohio and south central Ohio.

A flood watch is in effect for the area from 8 p.m. April 2 until Sunday, April 6.

Severe storms are expected Wednesday evening into the overnight. Damaging winds will be the main threat, although large hail and a few tornadoes will also be possible.
