Offenses/Incidents

At 12:01 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a red sedan driving recklessly on S. R. 28 heading towards the village. An officer patrolled the area.

At 12:09 A.M., Chillicothe Fire and Security advised of an alarm activation at the Greenfield Elementary.

At 5:57 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for speed.

At 6:28 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street in front of McDonalds. The driver was warned for speed.

At 11:27 A.M., a caller in the 600 block of Mirabeau Street reported a water/sewer complaint.

At 1:52 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near Flagway 16. The driver was warned for speed.

At 2:25 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Industrial Park Drive near Watt Road. The driver, Trevor J. Potter, 19, of Greenfield, was cited for speed.

At 3:24 P.M., a resident in the 1000 block of Mirabeau Street reported a domestic complaint. Parties were separated.

At 4:34 P.M., officers conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 200 block of North 11th Street.

At 5:00 P.M., a resident in the 600 block Baltimore Avenue requested a security check.

At 7:24 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Dominos. The driver was warned for expired registration.

At 7:37 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Burger King. The driver was warned for a stop bar violation and failure to signal.

At 9:47 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised Paint Creek Fire/EMS was requesting assistance at a residence in the 200 block of North 11th Street.

Michael P. Oldham, 40, of Lake Station, Indiana, was arrested for trespassing.

At 2:55 A.M., a caller in the 700 block of Mirabeau Street reported a suspicious person on their property. After investigation, it was determined to be a family member.

At 4:36 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Flagway 12. The driver was warned for an obstructed view.

At 6:10 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near South McArthur Way. The driver was warned for speed.

At 6:22 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S. R. 28 near Thrifton Road. The driver was warned for speed.

At 6:42 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mill Street. The driver was warned for speed.

At 10:45 A.M., the SRO reported a juvenile complaint. This incident remains under investigation.

At 1:51 P.M., the SRO reported a parking complaint in the 600 block of Lafayette Street.

At 3:43 P.M., an officer conducted a welfare check at a residence in the 800 block of North 5th Street. After investigation, Jessica Hatch, 35, of Greenfield, was arrested for three counts of child endangerment.

At 6:41 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of North 11th Street. The driver was warned.

At 7:02 P.M., a resident in the 400 block of Evans Street reported a juvenile complaint.

At 7:19 P.M., a caller at Community Markets reported a juvenile complaint.

At 7:42 P.M., a resident in the 500 block of Edgewood Avenue reported fraud. This incident remains under investigation.

At 8:53 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Lyndon Avenue. The driver, Jason Baker Jr., 35, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.

At 9:03 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Mirabeau Street. The driver was warned for a stop bar violation.

At 9:25 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near South 9th Street. The driver was warned for an equipment violation.

At 9:39 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate.

At 10:08 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for display of license plate.

At 10:21 P.M., a resident in the 300 block of Taylor Street requested the fire department for a gas leak. The Highland County Sheriff's Office was advised.

At 10:20 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North Washington near Lafayette Street. The driver, Timmy Estele III, 36, of South Salem, was cited for driving under suspension and headlights required. The passenger, Brittany Akers, 38, of Sabina, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jessica Hatch, 35, of Greenfield, was arrested for three counts of child endangerment.

Jason Baker Jr., 35, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.

Timmy Estele III, 36, of South Salem, was cited for driving under suspension and headlights required.

Offenses/Incidents

At 12:15 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the S. R. 28 bridge. The driver, Austin Curtis, 30, of Frankfort was cited for driving under suspension and illumination of the rear license plate.

At 6:37 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S. R. 28 near Thrifton Road. The driver was warned for speed. 

At 6:38 A.M., a caller reported an animal complaint in the 600 block of Baltimore Avenue.

At 8:48 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-hangup that was moving from Ross County to North Washington Street.

At 8:56 A.M., a resident in the 400 block of North Street reported a suspicious person. After investigation, it was determined to be a utility worker.

At 1:00 P.M., a caller reported a trash complaint in the 1000 block of Mirabeau Street. A 10-day notice was issued.

At 1:23 P.M., Adena Security requested assistance with a visitor. 

At 3:12 P.M., the Ohio State Highway Patrol requested an officer to remove debris from the roadway on S. R. 28 near Blain Lane.

At 6:17 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of 911-transfer reported a property damage hit-skip in the 300 block of Jefferson Street. The caller advised they followed a blue double cab truck out of town on Greenfield-Sabina Road, turned onto Limes Road, then entered a cemetery. While at the cemetery the truck knocked over a pole, a headstone, and struck the other vehicle head-on. The driver, Bradley Wright, 38, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to control, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

At 7:19 P.M., an individual reported theft of an iPhone. This incident remains under investigation.

At 7:47 P.M., a caller in the 300 block of Jefferson Street reported a suspicious person.

At 9:05 P.M., a caller requested a welfare check on a resident in the 200 block of North Washington Street. After investigation, a male juvenile was transported by Paint Creek Fire/EMS to the Adena Greenfield ER.

At 9:26 P.M., a caller requested a welfare check on a resident in the 500 block of South 2nd Street. The resident checked ok.

Arrests/Citations

Bradley Wright, 38, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to control, and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Offenses/Incidents

At 1:39 A.M., while on patrol near the school an officer located an open door on the Ag building. The officer made entry and cleared the building.

At 6:34 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S. R. 28. The driver was warned for speed.

At 6:52 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mill Street. The driver, James Estell, 61, of Greenfield, was cited for speed.

At 7:39 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of North 5th Street and North Street. The driver, a male juvenile, 16, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 11:07 A.M., the SRO reported a theft of a cell phone. This incident remains under investigation.

At 12:13 P.M., a resident in the 200 block of North Street was issued a 10-day trash notice.

At 1:38 P.M., the Murray Fettro Funeral Home requested assistance with a funeral procession.

At 2:59 P.M., a resident in the 500 block of Dickey Avenue reported a disturbance. David Bennett, 53, of Greenfield, was arrested on felony indictment for drugs.

At 4:48 P.M., a caller in the 600 block of South 6th Street reported a juvenile threatening self-harm. Paint Creek Fire/EMS transported the juvenile to the Adena Greenfield ER.

At 7:39 P.M., a caller reported a male believed to be intoxicated, threatening to harm a female with a vehicle. The male was located at Greenfield Meadows knocking on doors. The male later left the property.

A male juvenile, 16, of Hillsboro, was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

Natosha Earles, 44, of Greenfield, was arrested for failure to appear.

David Bennett, 53, of Greenfield, was arrested on felony indictment for drugs.

At 12:53 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 700 block of Jefferson Street. The driver was warned for display of license plate.

At 3:01 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 800 block of Neal Street. The driver was warned for expired registration and illumination of the rear license plate.

At 3:48 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mill Street. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 4:04 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mill Street. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 4:41 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Mill Street near North 5th Street. The driver was warned for speed.

At 5:11 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the S. R. 28 bridge. The driver, Luke Anders, 23, of Greenfield, was cited for speed.

At 6:45 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the S. R. 28 bridge. The driver was warned for speed.

At 7:05 A.M., a resident in the 400 block of Evans Street reported a juvenile complaint.

At 7:35 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mill Street. The driver was warned for speed.

At 12:46 P.M., a caller at Burger King reported a disturbance. 

At 1:41 P.M., a caller requested a welfare check on a resident in the 500 block of Dickey Avenue. The resident checked ok.

At 2:34 P.M., the Anderson Ebright Funeral Home requested assistance with a funeral procession.

At 4:11 P.M., a caller reported a semi blocking the roadway on Jefferson Street in front of McDonalds.

At 4:30 P.M., resident in the 600 block of Lyndon Avenue reported a civil complaint.

At 4:59 P.M., a caller requested a welfare check on residents in the 500 block of Dickey Avenue. The residents checked ok.

At 6:32 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near South McArthur Way. The driver, Alexis Johnson, 25, of Frankfort, was cited for expired registration and no valid operator's license.

At 7:09 P.M., a resident in the 400 block of Evans Street reported a juvenile complaint.

At 10:11 P.M., a resident in the 900 block of Mirabeau Street reported a noise complaint.

At 10:41 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on the S. R. 28 bridge.

At 11:06 P.M., Chillicothe Fire and Security advised of an alarm activation at the school campus. The building was secured.

At 11:28 P.M., while on a patrol near Cameron Drive an officer was flagged down requesting assistance for a male believed to be experiencing a heart attack. Paint Creek Fire/EMS arrived and transported the male to the Adena Greenfield ER.

Luke Anders, 23, of Greenfield, was cited for speed.

Alexis Johnson, 25, of Frankfort, was cited for expired registration and no valid operator's license.

Offenses/Incidents

At 12:15 A.M, a caller reported criminal damage to a building in the 100 block of South Washington Street. This incident remains under investigation.

At 12:22 A.M., Chillicothe Fire and Security advised of an alarm activation at the Greenfield Elementary. 

At 12:33 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S. R. 28 near S. R. 138. The driver, Richard Scowden, 29, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.

At 4:38 A.M., a resident in the 1100 block Greenhills Drive reported a noise complaint.

At 5:47 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Mill Street. The driver was warned for speed.

At 9:51 A.M., the SRO reported an assault between two juveniles. This incident remains under investigation.

At 11:16 A.M., the SRO reported a civil complaint.

At 11:51 A.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911 call in the 400 block of McClain Avenue reporting his devices being hacked. HCSO further advised the male refused to provide his name and address.

At 3:29 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised of a 911-hangup in the 1100 block of Greenhills Drive. Caller advised it was accidental.

At 4:40 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North 5th Street near North Street. The driver, Steven Knedler Jr., 44, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.

At 6:16 P.M., a caller on S. R. 28 reported a white dump truck had almost struck him head on. An officer patrolled the area.

At 8:35 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North 5th Street near McClain Avenue. After conducting an open air sniff a K9 unit alerted to the presence of narcotics. Suspected narcotics were collected. The driver, Michael Nelson, 57, of Greenfield, was cited for right of way rule at stop signs. This incident remains under investigation.

At 10:25 P.M., an individual in the 600 block of Jefferson Street reported criminal mischief.

At 10:30 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on S. R. 28 near Thrifton Road. The driver was warned for illumination of the rear license plate.

At 12:41 A.M., a resident in the 1100 block of Greenhills Drive reported a noise complaint.

At 2:40 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on North 2nd Street near Lafayette Street. The driver was warned for failure to obey a traffic control device.

At 2:45 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Flagway 12. The driver was warned for failure to signal.

At 9:52 A.M., a resident in the 100 block of North Street reported a disturbance. Paint Creek Fire/EMS was requested and transported a 16-year-old male to the Adena ER.

At 10:20 A.M., a resident in the 100 block of North Street was issued a 10-day trash notice.

At 11:45 A.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop at Flagway 16. The driver was warned for speed.

At 2:47 P.M., a resident in the 1100 block of Sycamore Circle reported a juvenile complaint.

At 3:47 P.M., a resident in the 1100 block of Sycamore Circle reported a property damage accident.

At 6:53 P.M., a caller at Steven's Hardware reported a property damage accident.

At 9:08 P.M., a caller reported a fire in the 600 block of Dunlap Lane. After investigation, the fire was controlled.

At 9:53 P.M., a resident in the 400 block of South 2nd Street reported a known male driving a dirt bike with no lights on the street and running stop signs. After investigation, Keanue Copas, 25, of Greenfield, was cited for driving under suspension.

At 10:05 P.M., the Highland County Sheriff's Office advised Paint Creek Fire/EMS was enroute to a fire in the 500 block of the alley between Spring Street and McClain Avenue. After investigation, the fire was determined to be in a driveway.

At 10:18 P.M., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Jefferson Street near H & R Block. After conducting an open air sniff a K9 unit alerted to the presence of narcotics. Suspected narcotics and items of drug paraphernalia were collected. The driver, Julie Parker, 47, of Greenfield, was cited for failure to signal. This incident remains under investigation.
