Greenfield Historical Society announces Greenfield Countrie Towne Festival plans

By
-
When visiting the Greene Countrie Towne Festival this weekend, be sure to stop by the Greenfield Historical Society's booth.

On display will be information on some of Greenfield's successful citizens.

Biographies of Don Grate, Edwin Hull, Johnny Paycheck among others will be included. The recently digitized Greenfield Schools' silent movie will be for sale, in addition to books and Greenfield memorabilia.

On Sunday, the society's annual ice cream social will be held in the Grain and Hay Building at the corner of Jefferson Street and McArthur Way. The menu will include sandwiches, chips, drinks, ice cream and homemade pie. Serving time will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stop down on Sunday for a good meal, a visit with friends in the air conditioning and then get back up town in time for the parade![[In-content Ad]]
