The Highland County Sheriff's Office has made two arrests related to the possession of methamphetamine. Deputies attempted to serve a grand indictment against Tina L. Hester, 38, of Hillsboro, for charges related to the illegal assembly of chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine. Upon arrival to the area of the residence, deputies came in contact with Timothy J. Tobin, 27, of Hillsboro. Tobin was found to have items related to the possession and manufacture of methamphetamine on his person, the HCSO said. Tobin was taken into custody and charged with one count of possession of drugs. Additional information led to the seeking of a search warrant for the Hester residence and a search warrant for the Tobin residence, each located within the city of Hillsboro. A search by detectives and deputies located additional items related to the manufacture and use of methamphetamine, as well as marijuana. Several items seized at the Hester residence were turned over to an environmental clean up crew due to being possibly hazardous in nature. Also charged with possession of methamphetamine was Timothy A. Tobin, 50, of Hillsboro. These charges were the result of items located at his residence upon execution of a search warrant. The sheriff's office continues to seek the whereabouts of Tina L. Hester. Should anyone have any information, they may contact the sheriff's office at (937) 393-1421 or the Highland County Crime Tip Line at (937) 840-6243. The cases will also be forwarded to the Highland County Prosecutor's Office for presentation to an upcoming session of the Highland County grand jury, where additional charges are possible.[[In-content Ad]]
