Board of Pharmacy publishes updated medical marijuana patient, caregiver numbers for August

The State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy last week published updated patient & caregiver numbers for August 2023.

These numbers include:

• 822,760 recommendations

• 391,692 registered patients

• 23,000 patients with veteran status

• 23,994 patients with indigent status

• 1,362 patients with a terminal diagnosis

• 182,068 patients with both an active registration and an active recommendation

• 369,587 unique patients who purchased medical marijuana

• 36,849 registered caregivers.
