Allison Russo to speak at Highland County Democrats dinner

The Highland County Democrat Women's Club will hold a harvest dinner Monday, Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Veterans of Foreign Wars Building, 1000 W. Main St., Hillsboro.

The speaker for the event will be Allison Russo, State Representative from District 7. Rep. Russo serves as the Minority Leader of the Ohio House. 
 
Russo has worked to adequately fund Ohio's public schools, support economic strategies that sustain working families and vibrant communities and prioritize innovative solutions in healthcare. She has an extensive record of leadership, including participating in the televised debate for the August Special election and serving as the Ranking Member on the House Health Committee prior to becoming the Minority Leader. 

You will not want to miss this opportunity to meet Rep. Russo and learn more about the current work of the Ohio Legislature. Please join the Democrat Women's Club for a great meal and wonderful speaker.

Meat, table service and drinks will be provided. Please bring a side dish to share if possible. A fundraising auction of donated items will be held at the conclusion of the event.
