The Washington Blue Lions defeated the McClain Tigers by stealing home in the bottom of the eighth inning, with two outs and a two strike count on the batter to gain a 7-6 South Central Ohio League win.

The Eastern Brown Warriors invaded Leesburg on Friday and easily defeated the Fairfield Lions 16-4.

The Whiteoak Wildcats took control in the bottom of the sixth Friday at Whiteoak High School. Having two players with at least two hits, the Wildcats defeated the Fayetteville Rockets 6-2 in Southern Hills League play.

The Fairfield Lady Lions hosted the Eastern Brown Lady Warriors Friday at Fairfield High School, in Leesburg.  The game featured two of the top teams in the Southern Hills League as Fairfield fell to the hot hitting Eastern Lady Warriors 7-3.

Following a full weekend of conference action, the four qualifying teams have been determined to participate in the 2010 North Coast Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament to be held at V.A. Memorial Stadium in Chillicothe, beginning Thursday, April 29 and running through May 2.
