    The Hillsboro Indians kept their South Central Ohio League hopes for back-to-back championships alive for another night. HHS trailed by three runs with six outs left, until they busted out for nine runs in the top of the sixth for a 10-4 SCOL win against the Miami Trace Panthers.

    The Fairfield Lady Lions gained 11 hits, three for extra bases, for a 10-2 victory over the Fayetteville Lady Rockets Thursday at Fairfield High School.

    The McClain Tigers held on to the lead in the late innings Wednesday evening against the Clinton-Massie Falcons for a 12-9 South Central Ohio League win at Mitchell Park.

    After miscues in the field allowed the Fayetteville Rockets to take the lead in the top of the seventh inning, the Fairfield Lions scored one run to tie the game and won the game off a base hit by Bobby Wilson to gain a 12-11 Southern Hills League win Thursday.

    The McClain Tigers defeated the Miami Trace Panthers 11-6, Friday evening at Mitchell Park. The victory places the Tigers on top of the South Central Ohio League with a 7-3 record. The Panthers fall to 6-4 in the SCOL.

    The McClain Lady Tigers scored eight runs in the top of the seventh inning, more than enough to gain a South Central Ohio League win Tuesday evening, defeating the Washington Lady Blue Lions 12-3 at WSHS.
