To the editor:

On April 24, St. Mary Catholic School in Hillsboro held its first spaghetti dinner and quarter auction.

We would like to thank the many supporters who donated their time and auction items and the many area businesses and independent vendors who generously donated merchandise for the auction. We had a great turnout, and everyone enjoyed the evening.

Kyle Seibert, the auctioneer, did a fabulous job describing the items, and Kathleen Fuller prepared a delicious dinner.

A big thank you to the following: Kroger, Jerry Haag Motors, Shabby Moose, Janie's Closet, Primitive Star, TwentyFour Exchange, Town Square Jewelers, Blossoms 'n' Buds, Pizza Hut, Lynn Cowman - Gold Canyon Candles, Megan Parsons - Longaberger, Miranda Seibert and Nicole Shawhan - Scentsy, Kara Setty - Premier Design Jewelry, Hillsboro Elks, YMCA, Brad's Garden Center, Kay Vance and Amanda Couser - Mary Kay, Walgreens, Marci Snively and Heather Hughes - Thirty-One, Kelly Brown - Origami Owl, Christina Ross - Tastefully Simple, Maria Griffith - Perfectly Posh, Petland, Brunacini and Ross, Michelle Adams - Medical Massage, Elizabeth Fryman - Pampered Chef, Howell Delicious Catering, Hapner Law Office and A-1 Tree Service.

We would also like to thank Frankie and Jake Fouch, Linda Bradford, Karen Trout, Norma Butsch, Sue Brunacini, Kathleen and Chris Fuller, and Patch of Heaven Preschool and grade K-4 students and teachers for their donations.

Thank you to Ellie and Paige Howland, Emily and Paige Loudin, Mackenzie Conlon, Bryce and Mallory Parsons, Sophie and Ava Snively and Carter Boyd for collecting quarters throughout the auction.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who helped make this a success. We can't wait to do it again!
